Goulburn

15km driven.
Goulburn is a very pleasant town. Though there may not really be that much to do.

This morning we had a walk around the town centre. It's pretty old, so there are lots of old buildings, most of which are restored and currently in use. We went to an old bookshop, the regional art gallery (didn't like any of the current exhibits) and a few shops.

Then in the afternoon we went for a drive. First to the Rocky Hill War Memorial.

Then we drove out to the Big Merino. It's not particularly attractive, but at least it's properly big. There's a gift shop and wool history museum, and you can climb up the stairs to look out his eyes. From one you can see a Bunnings and from the other a petrol station.
