Albury

264km driven.

When we started at about 10am it was sunny but only about 8 degrees and really noticably cold. We stopped almost immediately at the Wild Brumby schnapps distillery. It was a smart complex and we bought a few things.

Then we drove up the slow, winding Alpine Way past Thredbo then north to Khancoban. It was lush and beautiful in a way that's hard to capture.

We stopped to stretch out legs at Khancoban and then for lunch at Corryong. We drove alongside Lake Hume to Wodonga and Albury, then settled in.
