We spent the morning re-packing. It's one of the frustrations of a road trip that there is a lot of packing and unpacking in eachg location. That time also allowed me to do some work.
Then after lunch we drove from Camp Hill down to Crystal Creek, which is just over the border in NSW. This meant a jump forward of an hour, as daylight saving came in for NSW (but not Queensland) a couple of days ago.
We're staying at the Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat until Friday. It is located in actual rainforest - after a windy drive through the Tweed valley it started raining, with a considerable drop in temperature, and we finally drove up a narrow valley, crossing and re-crossing the creek until we finally reached the property. There are a handful of cabins scattered along the creek and a main building we don't need to visit unless we want to visit the lounge. There's also an orchard (I couldn't find any fruit) and a handful of walking trails if it stops raining long enough to explore.
