Brisbane

We checked out of the hotel in an unarried fashion this morning and drove to the Japanese gardens - these turned out to be across town in the uni campus. They were very pleasant, though not particularly large and i was an ideal day, sunny but mild and in the low 20's.

From there we drove most of the way into Brisbane and stopped at Ipswich. The original plan was to walk along the Bremer river but it was hard to find a park so we just stopped on a nearby main street and walked to the local milkbar for lunch and a milkshake.

It was then a suburban drive to Camp Hill, arriving around 2pm. We passed the afternoon quietly then ate far too much.
